2. What data we collect

Data you provide directly

When you submit the contact form or initial questionnaire on this website, we collect:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Property location (approximate, e.g. commune or département)
• Telephone number (optional, only if you choose to provide it)
• Details about your property and energy situation as provided in your message or questionnaire responses

Data collected automatically

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics platforms that identify individual visitors. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) may be retained by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes. We do not access or process these logs for marketing purposes.

Data from the article modelling tool

The interactive PV investment modelling tool on this site operates entirely within your browser. No input values, results, or usage data are transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Responding to your enquiry — Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) RGPD). You have contacted us requesting information; our legitimate interest is to respond. This interest is not overridden by your rights, as the processing is limited, expected, and proportionate.
• Providing advisory services — Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) RGPD), where an engagement agreement is entered into following initial contact.
• Compliance with legal obligations — Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) RGPD), where retention of records is required by French law (e.g. accounting, tax).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not send marketing communications unless you have separately and explicitly requested them.

4. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: Contact data is retained for up to 12 months from the date of last contact, then deleted.
• Client engagement records: Retained for 5 years from the end of the engagement, in compliance with French commercial and tax law (Article L123-22 Code de commerce).
• Email correspondence: Retained for the duration of the relationship plus 5 years.

Formspree form submissions (see Section 5) are subject to Formspree's own retention policy. You may request deletion from Formspree directly, or contact us to arrange deletion on your behalf.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with the following sub-processors, where necessary to operate this website:

Formspree (form processor)

Contact form and questionnaire submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc. (USA). Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. Data is transmitted to Formspree's servers when you submit a form. Formspree's privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Hosting provider

This website is hosted by HOSTING PROVIDER NAME. Standard server access logs are retained by the hosting provider for security purposes. Their privacy policy is available at HOSTING PROVIDER PRIVACY POLICY URL.

Google Fonts

This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, your IP address is transmitted to Google's servers. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. If you prefer to block this, you may use a browser extension that blocks Google Fonts requests.

We do not share your data with any other third parties, including energy installers, suppliers, manufacturers, or commercial partners.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Formspree, Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers to Formspree are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, as set out in Formspree's Data Processing Agreement. Google LLC is also US-based; transfers are similarly covered by SCCs.

No other transfers of your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) are made.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes. No consent banner is displayed because no non-essential cookies are set.

The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary session cookies from our hosting provider, which are not used to identify you across sessions or for any marketing purpose.

If this policy changes and analytics or tracking tools are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be implemented before any such tools are activated.
